Human Anatomy Model

As a side project, while I am completing my internship with paleontology lab, I am sculpting anatomical models. The idea of this was to not just model body parts with simple shapes, like I did in my organic modeling class, but to really describe the muscles anatomically. For this project I mostly worked in Zbrush and exported the model to Maya to get some basic renders using Vray.

Legs

One regrets is that the models ended up being really muscular. In the future I would like to try again, but keep the end result looking less Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I am happiest with the outcome of the arm. I feel that you can see every muscle group, but at the same time it feels cohesive not like a bunch of random muscle shapes on top of one another.
